EPOXIES
Epoxies (2 Part)
Two part Epoxies comprise a resin and a hardener
which need to be thoroughly mixed in the correct
ratio. Permabond epoxies have been used in everything
from large-scale applications to extremely delicate
assembly jobs in the electronics industry. Epoxy
resins bond to a very broad range of surfaces
which adds to their versatility and makes them
suitable both as a production item and as a general
maintenance product. With the correct grade of
epoxy, gap filling of up to 5mm can be achieved.
This makes them suitable for applications involving
very rough surfaces or poorly mating surfaces
where tolerances can not be guaranteed.

Epoxies
(1 Part)
In the single part Epoxies, the resin and hardener
components are already mixed and they simply require
heating to cure. The new single part epoxies offer
a real challenge to brazing and soldering. They
are easier to use free from lead and flux, and
eliminate the need for refinishing. They are particularly
valuable for small jobs requiring precision and
where the ultimate in strength, temperature and
chemical resistance is required.
