Anaerobics |
ANAEROBICS
These single part
liquid adhesives require the presence of a metal
and the absence of air (oxygen) in order to cure
effectively, although, with the application of
special surface activators they will cure on non-metallic
surfaces. Various grades have been developed for
different applications, i.e. thread locking, gasketing,
retaining, and pipe sealing & bonding. Choosing
an anaerobic for your application is made easier
due to the availability of viscosity's, gap filling
capabilities and cure time available.
In common with all anaerobic adhesives, Permabond
Anaerobics is not recommended for
use in joints which will be exposed to either
steam or pure oxygen.
