INDUSTRIAL CASTING RESINS
SMOOTH-CAST - Industrial Casting Resins
SC383, SC385, C1508,
C1509, C1515, C1520
SC383 & SC385 are mineral filled casting resins
that have exceptional compressive strength and
low shrinkage. The C1508 is aluminium filled and
has good heat resistance. Fully cured these products
can be machined, drilled, tapped and painted.
C1509 is a semi-rigid plastic, it has some flexibility,
but remains very strong and tough. It also is
suitable for some FDA/USDA applications - dry
food contact only. C1515 & C1520 are both
suitable for model duplication where a felible
product is required.
APPLICATIONS FOR SMOOTH-CAST
INDUSTRIAL RESINS
Vaccum forming moulds,
base pads, load bearing pads, tracing paterns,
high impact tooling, encapsulation, abrasion resistant
liners, vibration dampening pads, roller facings,
casters, foundry patterns.
