SMOOTH-CAST - General Purpose Casting Resins
SC300, SC300Q, SC305,
SC310, SC70D, SC320, SC321, SC322
The Smooth-Cast
series general purpose urethane casting resins offers
tremendous versatility and economy. All feature
a convenient 1A:1B mix ratio by volume, very low
viscosity, (80-100 cps) ensures minimal bubble entrapment
and easy mixing. They pour like water and duplicate
detail exactly. Shrinkage is minimal and they cure
to hard plastics that are tough, machinable and
paintable. Colour or texture effects are achieved
by adding colour tints or any number of fillers.
They also provide a range of demould times from
5 minutes to 4 hours allowing you to produce multiple
castings quickly or time to pour into a number of
moulds.
SMOOTH-CAST - Colour
Match Casting Resins
SC325, SC326, SC327
This series of plastics are "neutral colour"
and are easily pigmented or tinted to yeild exact
colours. They are also ideal for filling with
metal powders to attain perfect cold-cast metal
elements, or add granite or marble powder sore
a stone effect.
SMOOTH-CAST - UV Resistant
SC316UV
SC316UV cures to a brilliant white plastic that
resists Ultra Violet light making it good for
prototypes, sculptures or anything requiring outdoor
display.
