Smooth Sil Silicones (Addition Cure)
The Smooth Sil range consists of premium platinum cure silicones that have the best chemical and heat resistance of all mould rubbers. They cure with no shrinkage and give the longest production life for casting any material including resins and low melt metal alloys.
SORTA CLEAR
Sorta Clear 40
Sorta Clear 40 is a unique water translucent platinum silicone, that offers the advantage of being able to see your model when extracting it from the mould via cutting. Most often used for prototyping, Sorta Clear 40 has tremendous tear strength, chemical and heat resistance.
DRAGON SKIN
Dragon Skin
Dragon Skin is a high performance platinum cure silicone rubber that cures quickly with no shrinkage. Although it very soft, when cured, it will stretch many times its original size without tearing and will rebound to its original form. Although it is translucent tints and pigments can be added creating colour effects, making it ideal for use in the special effects and animatronics industry where repetitive motion is required.
ECOFLEX
EcoFlex
This range of platinum cure silicones are a softer version of the popular Dragon Skin range. There are currently 3 products in the range. Ecoflex 5 is a Shore 5A hardness which is very fast curing and is only available in 400ml tubes. Ecoflex 00-30* is extremely soft and stretchy like Dragon Skin, and cures at room temperature without a "tacky" surface. These products are ideal for orthodic & prosthetic applications as well as for special effects.
BODY DOUBLE
Body Double
Comes in two versions, "Standard Set" and "Fast Set", it is a silicone designed to apply directly to the skin for making moulds of the face, hands and other body parts. Unlike alginates, which are only good for one casting, Body Double will last for many castings of almost any material including plaster, wax, resins, low temperature melt metal alloys, etc.
EQUINOX SERIES
Equinox
Equinox Silicone Putty Products are platinum catalyst silicones that can be easily mixed and applied by hand to a variety of surfaces. It is mixed in equal amounts (1:1) by volume, with a pot life of 1 minute, and full cure of 7 minutes.
Applications include making fast mould impressions from almost any surface, orthotics/orthopedics, equine hoof repair, jewelry making and more.
