Alginates

Suitable for making temporary moulds of the face, hands and other body parts, our alginates consist of a full range of formulas to meet the exact needs of different types of projects, each formula with its own set of working and setting properties that are ideal for a variety of projects.

Colourants, Paints & Fillers

Various categories of pigments specifically formulated for urethane, epoxy, and silicone materials offer users the ability to add colour to their creations. High-quality paints intended for use in industrial scenic design. Additives frequently incorporated into casting resins to alter the characteristics of the plastic, reduce its weight, or achieve a range of finishes such as metallic, stone, porcelain, marble, wooden, and more.

Concrete Additives

Forton™ VF-774 is the world-wide standard concrete additive for making lightweight GFRC panels. It is recognized by the PCI as the only polymer supported with a 20 year durability study.

duoMatrix™‑C additive greatly enhances the physical properties of cementitious materials, improves colour uniformity and fills in any micro-cracks for a beautifully smooth concrete surface.

Epoxy

Harder and stronger than other resins, epoxies offer superior physical and performance properties including higher heat resistance. Casting resins are used for making impact tooling or fixtures and for encapsulating and potting applications. Epoxy coatings are used to protect 3D prints, rigid foams and other surfaces. Laminating resins are used with glass fibre and other reinforcements to create indestructible, lightweight parts for composite applications.

Foams

Mix and pour, high quality urethane and silicone foams are fast curing and used for industrial, military and art related applications. Foams expand many times original volume. Available in different densities, they are versatile and easy-to-use, they can be coloured with Smooth-On tints and pigments.

Gypsums

Materials used in the manufacture of fibrous plasterwork, glass reinforced gypsum structures, and general casting of decorative plasterwork. Applications include production of working moulds for the slip casting of tableware and figurines, the production of industrial models, cornice work, ceiling roses, etc.

Latex Rubbers

Liquid latex mould making materials and supplies have been a primary component in the creation of ornamental concrete, brick veneer, stone veneer, candle making, and architectural restoration. The unique properties of liquid latex have also found their way into areas such as body painting and the creation of latex appliances for special effects and mask making.

Release Agents & Sealers

A full line of sealers and release agents for making moulds and casting parts. Releases for polyurethane foams, polyurethane elastomers, epoxy resin, polyester resins, RTV silicones, rubber, and thermoplastic polymers from aluminium, chrome, RTV silicone, epoxy, rubber, and steel moulds. Using the right sealer and release agent can be the difference between project success and failure.

Sculpting Clays & Epoxies

Sculpting Clays are materials for building support walls or sculpting and widely used in fine arts and special effects applications. We carry reuseable, sulphur free, professional oil/wax based sculpting mediums that hold excellent detail and are great for precision sculpting, prototyping and model making.

Epoxy Putties are used for a variety of fabrication or sculpting applications either rigid or semi-rigid. These easy to use "mix-and-apply by hand" systems can be High-Density, textured and stamped to make artificial tree bark, vines, aquarium-safe coral pieces or flame-rated themed elements, or Low-Density, used for reinforcement, making lightweight elements and filleting for composite applications.

Silicone Rubber

Rowe Advanced Materials offers comprehensive selections of RTV addition-cure and condensation-cure silicone rubber, catering to various applications, including mould making, special effects, prototyping, architectural restoration, and cement casting. Whether you need materials for crafting intricate moulds, creating stunning special effects, developing prototypes, restoring architectural masterpieces, or casting cement projects, Rowe Advanced Materials has you covered with top-quality silicone rubber products.

Starter & Specialty Kits

Everything You Need To Make It Now!

Purchasing a starter kit costs less than buying products individually. Starter kits offer a great way to learn the basics of different mould making, casting, lifecasting, and skin effect processes.

Step by step instructions are included in each kit. If you take your time and follow directions, you'll be on your way to a new dimension of fun and creativity.

Tools & Equipment

A vast assortment of equipment and tools for mould making, casting, and sculpting applications. You will also find consumables - one-time use items - such as stirring sticks and chip brushes. We carry gram scales, latex-free gloves, even meter-mix and spray systems that make large projects a breeze. If you don’t see an item listed, give us a call.

Urethane Resins

A wide variety of liquid plastic casting resins & coatings used for hundreds of different applications. Good for industrial, art-related and hobbyist projects, they are available as rigids or semi-rigids.

These plastics are used for making detailed models & prototypes, props and industrial parts.

Colours and/or fillers can be added for an infinite variety of casting effects.

Urethane Rubber

Used for hundreds of industrial and art-related applications, urethane rubbers are easy to use and exhibit good wear resistance. They can be poured, brushed on or sprayed onto most prepared surfaces and cure with negligible shrinkage. They are economical, reproduce exceptional detail and are best suited for production casting of concrete, gypsum and wax.
